Established in 1987 by Arthur Kellett and Leroy Herbert, A & L Paving is a family-run company based in Northampton. With many years experience in hard landscaping behind us, we pride ourselves in providing the same high level of service for both the smallest patio and the largest commercial project.
We have worked all over the UK and abroad – our furthest job has been in the Falkland Isles – and we received an award from The Worshipful Company of Paviors in recognition of our work on the redevelopment of All Saints Square, Northampton.
We use traditional hand-laying methods for smaller areas and mechanised techniques on larger applications. We have over thirty teams of experienced operatives – all those who work on our commercial projects are CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cardholders and our plant operatives are CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) accredited.
  Leroy Herbert, founder and managing director, handles all commercial aspects of the company.
Pat McMahon is the overall Operations Director responsible for all ongoing commercial contracts.
Richard Ferrison is the Project Director who oversees the day to day management of our commercial work.
Dan Herbert is our other Project Director and is in charge of our home & garden business.
Julie Herbert is the office manager and is always on hand to deal with enquiries.
Jodie Malpas is our receptionist and administrator.
